Ash Brokerage Corporation

Over the past 40 years, Ash Brokerage Corporation has grown into one of the largest privately owned insurance brokerage agencies in the nation.  The Ash Brokerage encompasses some 89 insurance companies.  We are proud to work with Ash Brokerage on certain life insurance, long-term care and disability insurance cases.  Their utilization of an in-house medical director and a large team of underwriters allows them to quickly and effectively assess even most complicated impaired risk cases.


The Nautilus Group®

Erick Barone has earned a position with The Nautilus Group®, which includes specialists with backgrounds in law, taxation, accounting, business, insurance, finance and philanthropic planning.

The Nautilus Group® was designed to give concierge level service to top producing agents with New York Life. Some of the benefits available to our clients through our association with The Nautilus Group® include:

  • Dedicated Staff - The Nautilus Group® provides a dedicated staff to consult with Nautilus members.
  • Case Consultation - We are able to consult with The Nautilus Group® staff on specific cases or to brainstorm in the advanced markets area.
  • Legal Research - The Nautilus Group® helps us research technical issues relating to life insurance, executive benefits, estate planning and other topics relating to the advanced markets and life insurance.
  • Custom Document Review - The Nautilus Group® provides a resource to review client estate and business documents. Staff members will summarize and flow chart the documents, and they will make observations regarding the documents that might point out legal and tax concerns or discrepancies in the documents compared to client goals.
  • Client Consultation - The Nautilus Group® provides concept presentations for our clients in estate and business planning areas.
  • Priority - Cases for The Nautilus Group® members will be handled on a priority basis.

 


 


Brooke Zrno Grisham, CLU® , is CEO of the Nautilus Group® . Brooke joined Nautilus in 1999 and started one of its most innovative departments –Model Office –which grew from an ancillary support resource for the Nautilus Members' staff to a comprehensive practice management consultancy. In 2010, Brooke assumed the role of Chief Operating Officer for The Nautilus Group®, supervising seven individual departments and managing a staff of more than 35 people. Prior to working for Nautilus, Brooke was a corporate trainer for a Fortune 100 company. She attended Boise State University and The University of Texas at Dallas, where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Business Communications.


James S. Barry, JD, LL.M., CLU®, ChFC®, serves as the head of the Nautilus Plus unit at The Nautilus Group®. James provides personalized consultative services to an elite group of 25 Member Agents, bringing client solutions for   estate  , business, insurance, and charitable planning. Jim and his staff are also available as a resource to facilitate the brainstorming process between the Nautilus Member Agent, the client, and the client's circle of advisors. Jim has been in the life insurance industry since 1982. He received his law degree from the University of Georgia, his LL.M. in Taxation from the College of William and Mary, and earned significant credits at the University of Miami LL.M. program in Estate Planning. Jim is a member of AALU.



Heather Davis, JD, CLU®, ChFC®, currently serves as the High Net Worth Marketing Manager and oversees marketing for both the Advanced Planning Group and The Nautilus Group®. Heather has worked in the life insurance and financial services industry since 1997 and has been with New York Life Insurance Company since 1999. She's authored numerous life insurance, retirement, business succession and estate planning articles and is an experienced speaker and continuing education instructor. Heather heads the Center of Influence  initiative,  and is the program director for the Feldman Forum, an annual continuing education seminar that is broadcast live to all New York Life agents. Heather graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Nebraska where she received both her BA and JD degrees. Heather also is a registered representative with NYLIFE Securities  LLC,  and a member of both the Nebraska and Texas State Bar Associations.
